HOW TO SET UP TEAM ROSTERS IN A LEAGUE

VYI has set up all the teams in each league by team color or County designation as a starting point for commissioners. Commissioners must then assign registered players to a specific team.

Go to www.vyi.org/Basketball , click on Admin and log in. To set up a team you would double click on Rosters (then ):

Select a Team (select the team you are going to set up, for example, "10 Year Old Boys Div I")
Type ("Players only")
Gender (select gender of the team, for example "Male")
Between grades (select the highest and lowest grade possible-should not include anyone out of grade level, who is not an authorized age exception, for example "4", "5")
Registered in (scroll to the league where these kids registered, for example, "10 Year Old County Boys 2")
Submit
Registration Criteria (leave blank)
Submit

Then drag and drop players from the general database onto their assigned team.

In Admin double click on Teams to assign email notification if someone else tries to schedule your league, assign password to give access to rosters, enable stats, etc.
